ABOUT CYNTHIA
My name is Cynthia Pequeño (pronounced pe-ke-nyo) and I a portrait photographer specializing in contemporary beauty, boudoir and branding portraits.
My mission is to encourage women to embrace their strength, confidence and beauty through portraits. I want to help you fall in love with yourself and see what everyone else sees when they look at you.
As a mother, I was always behind the camera taking photos of my girls when they were babies. I would shy away from being photographed because of my insecurities and how I felt about my body. I know what it can be like to loose touch with your femininity, your confidence and the love for yourself. I knew I had to change that because one day, my girls will go through our family photos looking for my face just like I have done so with my old family photos. I want them to find beautiful legacy portraits that they will cherish and one day, pass down to their children.
Through my journey as a photographer, I have learned how valuable it is to love yourself. I have experienced being in front of the camera to better serve my clients but also for my family and for myself. The transformation that happens during a photo shoot is extraordinary! It's always so much fun even though I walk into it a bit nervous every time. The experience is empowering and it is amazing how your confidence grows. You don't even know it is happening but suddenly, you feel your power, strength and beauty taking center stage. You fall in love with yourself and start embracing all that you are. You deserve to exist in photos not only for your family, but also for yourself. You will see yourself the way your loved ones have always seen you!
